Overview
This is a revolving loan program--meaning new loans can be made only when funds are available from existing loan repayments. Residents in Davis, Jefferson, Keokuk, Mahaska, Van Buren and Wapello counties are eligible to apply.
Regular Loan Features
- No application fee
- 4% Interest
- Maximum 10-year term
- $5,000—$20,000 available per loan
- Applicants are encouraged to provide cash match (equity or other loans) equal to loan request Loan Review and Approval Process

Micro-Loan Features
- No application fee
- 4% Interest
- Maximum 5-year term
- $2,000—$5,000 available per loan
- Applicants are encouraged to provide cash match (equity or other loans) equal to loan request Loan Review and Approval Process

Goals/Priorities for Loans
Pathfinders loan program has four priorities.
All loan requests must meet at least one of the following goals:
- Natural resource based business
- Value-added agriculture enterprise
- Facilities and services to low income, under employed or elderly
- Small commercial or retail business

This is a comprehensive training on how to get your business or point of interest plotted on Google Maps and how to create functional and user-friendly event maps. Funded in part through Central Iowa Tourism Region.

NEW! Grant Received for Mormon Trail Development
Pathfinders recevied $86,000 in Statewide Transportation Enhancement grant funds to identify nationally significant historical resources on the Iowa Mormon Wagon Trails and Iowa Mormon Handcart Trail.
The project will include a cultural and natural resource inventory and land acquisition study. The project will also result in preservation and interpretive plans. This project is being completed as part of Iowa scenic byway development
While grants funds have been committed, Pathfinders is still securing necessary cash match. The project is expected to start in fall 2012.
