Grant WritingPathfinders provides grant writing services for groups or organizations. If you are in need of these services please contact the Pathfinders office to discuss your program and Pathfinders rates. Contact the Pathfinders office for current rates. Successful grants written in the last 10 months have been for a playground development at Lake Wapello State Park (2 grants), a new entrance sign for the City of Fairfield (1 grant), funds to support a local food coordinator position (6 grants), grant to start a Farm to School program (1 grant), funds for Abandoned Mine Land reclamation (4 grants), funds for an exhaust removal system for Fairfield Fire Department (1 grant). Grant ResearchPathfinders can provide grant research to help project organizers identify grant funds that may be available to support their project. Contact Pathfinders for current rates. Grant AdministrationDoes your group want to go after a grant but doesn’t want to deal with the paperwork and reporting obligations that comes with the grant funding? Through our grant administration services Pathfinders can take care of the paperwork details. Administration fees vary depending on the amount of time needed. Contact our office for more information. Pathfinders has administered several different grants including CDBG (Community Development Block Grants), federal grants, state grants, and private foundation grants. Fiscal Agent / BookkeepingPathfinders can serve as the fiscal agent which means managing the finances for another organization. This can be very helpful for projects or entities that are smaller in scope or utilize mostly volunteers. Facilitation and Organizational AssistancePathfinders provides services such as facilitation or organizational assistance for groups or community efforts. For example, in the past three years, Pathfinders helped two local organizations complete the necessary paperwork to get their official 501c3 non-profit designation from the IRS. As a standing member of the Circle of Diamonds, Pathfinders RC&D Council has already demonstrated its positive impact on the quality of life within its local area and its accountability to the community it serves through its organizational structure, the processes it uses, and the outcomes it attains. In earning reauthorization of its Circle of Diamonds membership, the RC&D Council promises to continue to maintain the specific benchmarks set forth in the program guidelines.
